Clarence was invited on to ITV Meridian's monthly political show The Last Word on Thursday to discuss, among other things, energy prices and open primaries. Clarence was joined by two other PPCs on the show, which also included a discussion about Margaret Thatcher, who Clarence knew well from his time as a reporter on the Hendon and Finchley Times.
